HeadSmart - Saturday May 16, 2026
As stunt professionals, we put our bodies on the line every day. This workshop is about protecting the one thing we can’t replace.
HeadSmart is a concussion awareness workshop created specifically for stunt performers and stunt coordinators — the people who make the action happen on set. Designed to be interactive, informative, and community-driven, this important conversation is long overdue.
Keynote speaker Dr. Shelina Babul (BSc, PhD) specializes in concussion and traumatic brain injury research and education. She will guide attendees through the science behind concussions, the long-term risks, prevention strategies, and the realities of recovery.
Hosted by Jim Vickers (Stunt Coordinator, 2nd Unit Director, Director), the workshop will also feature a panel of stunt professionals sharing firsthand experiences and insights from within the community.
This is more than a lecture — it’s an opportunity for our industry to come together, learn from one another, and help build a safer future for stunt performers at every level.
In-person attendees will enjoy food, community networking, and prize giveaways throughout the event. A Zoom option will also be available for those unable to attend in person.
V10 is proud to support HeadSmart and encourages every member of the stunt community to attend.
RSVP required — space is limited.
